A Wepechug came to our house

Munchkin's a little confused about St. Patricks Day. I told him that a leprechaun would come to our house and leave gifts. In the night we were indeed visited by said leprechaun. He left Lucky Charms, sidewalk chalk, and some St. Patty's day socks as well as green footprints leading to the treasures. However, when Munchkin retells the story of the days events it's either a wepechug or a hedgehog (??? where'd that one come from) that came to our house. Oh well, close enough.
