Our week

Jim Bob's 30th birthday is on Sunday. I wanted to take him out for a date. Gramma and Grandpa came over to babysit and just before we left we noticed that Peanut's cut on his head was bleeding. I put in a call to the after hours nurse and we went off to dinner. The nurse called back while we were waiting for our table and said we should probably take Peanut back to the ER to get rechecked. We left, got McDonald's wraps (courtesy of gramma) and headed to the ER. While on the way we ate Raisinet's and Red Vines that were meant to be movie treats later that night. But hey, we weren't going to let them go to waste. Peanut ate our movie popcorn while in the waiting room. He also got to play with his daddy's phone; a favorite activity.

Peanut's head was just fine. Hooray!

Aunt L and uncle D were in town for a day. We met them at Rosa's for lunch. Daddy left work so he could come. And gramma and grandpa were there too.
Munchkin loves his Aunt L.

Peanut liked the chips . . . and throwing ice chips on the floor . . . and trying to run amuck in the restaurant.

We went to the Chandler mall and Munchkin decided to use his allowance to pay for a train ride. It was $3! I tried to talk him out of it because it was expensive, but he really wanted to do it. The conductor was really nice and sneaked Munchkin's money back in his wallet (which must be noted is pink and sparkly...Munchkin LOVES it). The conductor let all of us ride the train for free. Peanut didn't quite know what to think. But he did enjoy waving to all the passerbys like a beauty queen on a parade float.
Munchkin was thinkin he was pretty cool and thoroughly enjoyed the whole ride.

I'm glad everything is okay with the little one's head. Sorry it ruined Jim Bob's birthday, though. But, I guess you can go again, and it's better to make sure Peanut was okay.
